British Prime Minister Keir Starmer used Donald Trump to visit Washington on Thursday to not give up on Ukraine as he hoped to find a quick final in which Russia bloody invaded its neighbors.
With conversations with Frank, the left-wing Stars filed a lawsuit against the Republican president to remain cautious as he would end the biggest conflict in Europe since World War II.
The British Prime Minister began his visit, coming to Scotland for a “historic” state visit by offering an invitation to King Charles III – noting that it was “unprecedented” honor as Trump had received royal treatment from Queen Elizabeth during his first term.
“You create a huge opportunity to reach a historic peace deal – I think it’s a deal celebrated in Ukraine and around the world,” Starmer told Trump. “That’s the prize. The talk to end the grinding war was “very advanced”, but also warned that there was only one narrow window to reach a deal.
Starmer’s visit follows a Trump-like case held in Washington earlier this week by French President Emmanuel Macron. The British leader leaned towards the idea that Trump was the glue to maintain Ukraine peace that ended the Three Years’ War.
Starmer and Macron’s press this week reflected much of the concerns in most of Europe, and Trump’s aggressive war ended, showing his willingness to admit too much to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The U.S. leader expressed confidence in Putin’s unwillingness to a ceasefire. “I think he will keep his promise,” Trump said of Putin. “I’ve talked to him, I’ve known each other for a long time, and we have to spend the Russian scam together.”

The reference to the “Russian scam” is a reference to the FBI and the Department of Justice’s special counsel investigation that examines whether Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign in 2016 illegally coordinated with Russia to sweep the U.S. election.
Special counsel Robert Mueller found that although the Trump campaign welcomed Russia’s help in the form of a hacker email stolen by the Democratic Party, there was not enough evidence to prove the movement merged with Moscow.
Trump’s reconciliation with Russia has disturbed the United States’ historic allies in Europe. They found themselves following closely behind, and Trump returned to the White House, determined to thoroughly formulate U.S. foreign policy to correspond to his “America First” worldview.
The Trump administration held talks with Russia last week without Ukraine or other European allies. This week, the United States refused to sign a UN resolution to blame Russia for war. The White House vision of Ukraine under Trump is leading to a tectonic shift in transatlantic relations.

Starmer expressed appreciation for Trump’s efforts to end Russian invasion of Ukraine, but also urged that “it’s impossible to reward the invaders for peace.” “History must be on the side of the peacemakers, not the invaders,” Starmer said.
At Friday’s White House meeting, Trump and Zelensky’s controversial agreement would give the United States access to key Ukraine’s minerals used in aerospace, defense and nuclear industries. Zelenskyy reached a deal without specific guarantees in Washington.
Trump’s guarantee of any guarantees for the upcoming U.S. security guarantees remain uncommitted, stressing that if the U.S. establishes an economic footprint in Ukraine to extract critical minerals “we are the defenders because we will work in the country and we will extract critical minerals in Ukraine, which will think twice before attacking Ukraine.”
If a truce is possible, Starmer and Macron have agreed to send troops on potential peacekeeping missions to Ukraine to ensure that the battle between Ukraine and Russia does not erupt again.

But White House officials are skeptical that Britain and France can assemble enough troops from all over Europe, at least for now, a reliable peacekeeping mission has been deployed to Kiev. Zelenskyy met with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin on Thursday on his way to Washington, who said he told Zelenskyy that Ireland was willing to help, including sending peacekeeping personnel to Ukraine.
Zelenskyy and European officials have no illusions about the US military participating in such missions. However, Starmer and others have tried to prove that the program can only work with the U.S. backend through U.S. air intelligence, surveillance and support and in case of a truce violation through U.S. air intelligence, surveillance and support, and rapid response coverage.
Trump also sees currently as an opportunity to reopen with Russia in the case of three-year U.S.-led sanctions to punish the Moscow invasion. Starmer will hold a meeting at a Sunday meeting of UK international leaders, which will focus on Ukraine, with Zelenskyy expected to attend.
The Prime Minister also announced plans for Britain to strengthen its defense spending this week, which should get along well with Trump, who is crucial to European allies spending little on defense.

By 2027, the Steamer administration will increase military spending to 2.5% of GDP, earlier than expected and reach 3% earlier in 2035. “The disaster in Ukraine is a complete demonstration of why this is so important to the UK and other NATO partners in order to make substantial investments in their defense capabilities,” Trump said. “You are raising a lot of money, which is a great thing for your country. It’s a great thing. Sadly we need it, but we may need it.”
