Recently, in an interview, she recalled affectionately that she couldn’t stop laughing while filming the funeral scene at Hum Aaapke Hain Koun…!
In an interview, Renuka Shahane revealed that after Hum Aapke Hain Koun, she found herself being stamped into the role of “Next Girl”. Although her role has been widely loved, its wide popularity has led to her being given the role of “Good Indian Girl”, limiting her chances in the industry.
Renuka Shahane mentioned that it took a while to play the director after Hum Aapke Hain Koun. She also revealed that during the movie’s funeral scene shooting, she was ridiculed for uncontrollable scenes.
When talking to the movie “Shemi Talk”, Renuka Shahane said: “Everyone was there, they were very serious, I went to the scene and saw how the filming was going, I was just smiling As they looked at the whole thing, as everyone was crying inside. Renuka Shahane also shared that Reema Lagoo, who played mother in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, cried at the scene of death. The emotional moments on the scene have a lasting impact on everyone involved.
