According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is developing a feature that will allow the Meta AI chatbot to remember specific details or messages of users in order to provide more accurate personalized responses to advertisements, taking into account the user’s personal situation.
According to the outlet, the update is related to the WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.24.22.9 update, but beta testers do not have access to it yet.
As part of the AI chat memory feature, the chatbot will be able to call and process user-authorized details based on the user’s privacy preferences.
In this way, chatbots may be able to incorporate data such as a user’s allergies, speaking style, and even milestone dates to produce more personalized and accurate responses based on the pipeline.
