“What’s wrong?”

Amitabh Bachchan finally reacts to his mysterious tweet, “Tay To Go” and explains his thoughts in the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has confused his fans recently, a simple tweet that simply says “It’s time to go.” The post quickly spread, sparking rumors about his retirement from the movie and popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, speculation was finally resting, and the veteran actor responded directly to the buzz around his tweets.

In the promotional video shared by the manufacturer, Bachchan is seen interacting with a playful contestant who jokingly asks him to dance. He replied with his signature humor: “Kaun Nachega? Arre Bhai Sahab, Naachne Ke Liye Yahan Nahi Rakha Hai Humko.” The relaxed moments split the audience. During the show, a viewer asked him about his mysterious post. The Shawlai actor responded with his usual wit, laughing and said, “There is a line saying, ‘It’s time to go…’ What’s wrong?”

Another fan anxiously questioned, “Where are you going?” Bachchan playfully replied, “That means it’s time…” Before he was done, the audience interrupted, saying, “Aap Yahan Se Kahin Nahi Jaa Sakte!” (You can’t go anywhere from here!).

Finally, Bachchan explained, “Arre Bhai Sahab, it’s time to go to work now…what are you talking about! When we ended here at 2 a.m., by the time I got home, it was 1-2. I was writing and I was so sleepy that I fell asleep there… “It’s time to go,” I just ze to sleep!”

Before the tweet, Bachchan shared a reflective post on his blog and wrote about “saturation” and “sparse space.” His words suggest deep meditation, which furthers fans’ theory about possible retirement or major career decisions. Not long after, he posted “To Go Go” on X (formerly Twitter), sparking widespread speculation.
