Delhi Parliament President Vijender Gupta threw 12 AAP MLAs out of the house on Tuesday. This move is important because Gupta was made up by the Delhi Congress when he was a member of the opposition.
AAP leaders including Atishi, Gopal Rai, Veer Singh Dhingan, Mukesh Ahlawat, Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed, Anil Jha, Anil Jha, Vishesh Ravi and Jarnail Singh were expelled at their address on Tuesday as they were on Tuesday’s Governor VK Saxena’s address was announced.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Rohini’s MLA Vijender Gupta as the new spokesperson for the Delhi Assembly.
Three-term MLA Gupta served as opposition leader for two terms in the Legislative Assembly. While the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) was in power, Gupta was even dragged by the Marshalls of the house while the BJP opposition was.
Vijender Gupta won the 2025 congress election from Rohini by over 37,000 votes, beating AAP’s Pradeep Mittal. The BJP has won 48 seats in 70 members’ houses.
