In the shocking incident, which took place in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, three children of two tenants, aged 6, 13 and 16, raped the landlord’s 5-year-old daughter.
The case has been registered at Ballia police station in Kotwali district and further investigation has been initiated.
According to Vikrant Veer (Balia City Police Chief), the complainant alleged that her minor daughter was molested by three children of two tenants.
“Based on a complaint lodged by the mother of the five-year-old girl, a case has been registered against the three children. The police said that a case has been registered and while the crime scene is being inspected, the three children have been identified and legal action is being taken,” Ballia SP said.
He further said, “Forensic teams have examined the crime scene and legal action is being taken to identify the three children.”

The Chief Minister commended the Uttar Pradesh Police for its effective control and successful prosecution of crimes and serious offenses in the state.
According to the Uttar Pradesh government, “In the past seven and a half years, the Bureau has successfully prosecuted more than 80,000 criminals in the state.”
Furthermore, according to official government records, 54 convicts were sentenced to death, and in cases involving women, 28,700 convicts were punished for serious crimes, including sexual assault and offenses under the POCSO Act.
