Union Minister Amit Shah said

Ahmedabad:

Union Minister Amit Shah on Sunday praised Mithilanchal and Bihar for their contributions to the development of Gujarat and said the region has a history of empowering democratic and philosophical capabilities to ancient times.

He also promised to build a large temple of Sita Mata during the “Shashwat Mithila Mahotsav 2025” event in Ahmedabad.

He said: “When I went to Bihar during the Lok Sabha elections, I said that Ram Mandir has been built and it is now the Grand Temple in Sita Mata. This temple will convey the message of the power of women to the world and that life should be ideal in every way.”

“People from Mithilanchal and Bihar from Gujarat have made great contributions to their growth,” he said, ensuring that they are safe, respected and welcomed in the state.

The land of Mithila has always been the land of intellectuals in the era of Ramayan and Mahabharat, and the ancient video kingdom was the mother of democracy.

He said: “Mahatma Buddha has said many times that as long as the people live together, no one can defeat them. It turns out that Mithilanchal is a powerful democratic force that has been sending a message to the entire country for many years. Mithilanchal is also the land of Shastrarratha.”

Amit Shah said that among the six major philosophies in India, four are from Mithilanchal.
