US President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday (December 22, 2024) appointed Indian-American entrepreneur, venture capitalist and author Sriram Krishnan as the White House Senior Policy Advisor for Artificial Intelligence.
“Sriram Krishnan will serve as senior policy advisor for artificial intelligence in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy,” Trump said on Sunday (December 22, 2024) when announcing a number of appointments in artificial intelligence.
Mr. Krishnan, who has led product teams at Microsoft, Twitter, Yahoo, Facebook and Snap, will work with David O. Sacks, who will serve as White House artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency czar.
“Sriram will work closely with David Sacks to ensure continued U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence and help develop and coordinate AI policy across the government, including with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Sriram serves as Windows A founding member of Azure started his career at Microsoft,” Mr. Trump said.
“I am honored to work closely with David Sachs to serve our country and ensure America’s continued leadership in artificial intelligence,” said Mr. Krishnan, whose appointment was welcomed by Indian-Americans. Welcome to the American community.
