Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee on Thursday said the election of Donald Trump as US president proves that age is not a factor in the party debate over calls for fixing retirement age for leaders if one Gain public support.
Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls earlier this year, TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee called for a retirement age in politics, citing reduced work efficiency and productivity.
