Praising former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal, CM Atishi said the people of the national capital have full confidence in his leadership and are committed to solving the problems in the city. Delhi assembly elections are expected to be held in 2025.
In Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena cleared federal probe agency to prosecute Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kay in liquor policy case A day after Arvind Kejriwal, he is facing scrutiny from the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
“First of all, I would like to thank the Delhi district administration for informing us about this issue. I urge the district administration to report to us any issues in the city. The AAP-led Delhi government will solve every problem faced by the people of Delhi. Delhi,” Atish told ANI on Sunday after visiting and inspecting the Rangpuri Pahari area.
During the visit, the Delhi Chief Minister interacted with locals and listened to their concerns. Atishi was quoted as saying by news agency ANI: “Under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government will solve every problem faced by the people of Delhi. Those who believe that there is someone who can solve their problems know that , only Arvind Kejriwal can solve their problems.
Meanwhile, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party announced the formation of a state election commission to take charge of the upcoming assembly elections on Wednesday. The party has yet to announce its candidates for the polls.
The AAP recently released another list of candidates for the parliamentary elections. In a political development ahead of the polls, BJP leader Ramesh Pehalwan and his wife Kusumlata Ramesh joined AAP on December 15.
In the 2020 assembly elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats and the BJP won 8 seats.
