The 22nd edition of Telangana Government’s annual Life Sciences Conference Bioasia 2025 continues to realize its role as a global platform on a global scale to discuss a wide range of issues and developments, facilitate business interactions, and showcase products and solutions in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
IT and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu said that over 3,000 representatives of BioAsia in 2025 make it the largest representative of the series, with at least 11 companies pledging to invest Rs 5,000 crore in Green Pharma City near Hyderabad and invested in Green Pharma City near Hyderabad and established a stage B2B conference for AS for up to 200 high-impact.
In addition, US drugmaker MSD said it has decided to boost its staff in India. In a run to Bioasia, American biopharmaceutical giant Amgen has opened its innovative and technological facilities and will invest $200 million this year and employ about 2,000 people. Miltenyi Biotec, a German provider of cell research, cell therapy and cell manufacturing solutions, has opened a Centre of Excellence (COE) in Hyderabad.
Agilisium’s data innovation partner in life sciences said it will launch a life science innovation and talent development laboratory in Hyderabad and is committed to creating 2,000 jobs over the next 36 months.
Vaccine testing facilities
Mr. Sridhar Babu spoke about Telangana’s big stride in the pharmaceutical field. He appealed to Coal and Mine Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, who was the main guest, who set up a vaccine testing centre in Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave this assurance. In the absence of such a facility, each batch of vaccines in Telangana must be delivered to Kasauli, Himaal Pradesh, for approval.

He detailed the various programs and measures initiated by the Centre Maud government, aimed at lending to industrial development, financial inclusion, and businesses, especially those small ones.
