Yami Gautam, who has been part of the film industry for more than a decade, recently opened up her journey and how she landed on her first Bollywood movie, Vicky Donor.
While talking to Ani, Yami discusses her journey and shares how to achieve “real satisfaction.” “Satisfied, I don’t think you’ve ever felt like you’ve achieved something. If you set a goal, and when you reach it, it feels like, ‘Oh, I want this, but it’s OK now.’ Maybe the goal 10 years ago was that I was here, and now my goal is different.
Yami then recalls how she got her first Bollywood movie, Vicky Donor. She revealed that she played the role through auditions. “Audio. Our director of actor Jogi Ji called me to audition for another movie. But for some reason, I couldn’t do it. It didn’t work. Then he said that the movie wouldn’t work, but I asked another one. So he prepared a small audition with a few lines and asked me, “Can you do it?” “I said, “Of course, I really want to do this.” “There are some things that excite me about Vicky donors,” she said.
