A police official said rescue teams are working to explain eight men trapped under the partially collapsed Sri Salam left bank canal (SLBC) tunnel, who have been here for more than two weeks.
The body was taken out and moved to the hospital, he said.
Earlier, the state government deployed the corpse dogs of Kerala police to find human existence and excavated the canine-responsored rescuers.
Eight personnel engineers and workers are still trapped in the tunnel of the Srisailam left bank canal (SLBC) project since February 22, with experts from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Indian Army, Navy and other agencies doing their best to evacuate it safely.
