Telangana tunnel collapses: A worker’s body is restored, sent to postage autopsy | Indian News

Rescue team found the body of one of eight trapped men on Sunday as he was trapped in a partially collapsed SLBC tunnel for more than two weeks.

The body has been taken to Nagarkurnool Civil Hospital for autopsy and other necessary procedures, PTI said.

The official said the body was explained after more than 48 hours of “very cautious” excavation and other efforts, as it was buried under the silt depth was about 10 feet.

The official noted that efforts were being made to identify the deceased.

Rescue officials praised the efforts of NDRF personnel, state-run Singaporeni Collieries Ltd miners and RAT miners.

The official added that searches for the rest of the workers were underway.

Earlier, the state government deployed the corpse dogs of Kerala police to find the human presence and dug out rescue teams at the location indicated by the dog.

Eight people, including engineers and workers, have included engineers and workers since February 22.
