Telangana SLBC Tunnel Rescue Real-time Update: Government Finds Trapped Workers in 2 Days

The rescue operation is to track part of the Srisailam left bank canal (SLBC) tunnel, eight people who collapsed last week are missing, depending on the recommendations of the senior border road organization to completely dehydrate and start dismantling operations simultaneously.

Telangana Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy revealed that rescue operations at the SLBC tunnel in Domalpenta in Nagarkurnool area will be strengthened in all strokes to find eight missing workers.

Mr Reddy revealed a specific plan was negotiated with experts involved in tunnel accident management, including experts from the Border Road Organization (BRO). “To overcome the obstacles, the rear of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) will be cut so that the rescue team can remove silt filled with mud and rocks,” he said.
