SCR team slicing Ultra Thermot Cutter through metal debris, hindering rescue efforts
The rescue operation was to track eight people inside the partially collapsed Srisailam left bank canal (SLBC) tunnel in Nagarkurnool, with the Southern Central Railway (SCR) team gaining momentum to allow advanced tools to remove debris and National Geophysics Institute (NGRI) units (NGRI) units, and also joined the work on Thursday (February 27, 2002, 2025). Debris, including steel and iron, has hindered rescue efforts in the past few days.
On the second day of the joint team of Border Road Organization (BRO), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Indian Army personnel, the last point in the collapsed tunnel was inspected to provide a first-hand assessment of the situation, and the state-of-the-art machines were imposed on the service this morning.
