Telangana incubator center partners with Japanese carmaker India News

The Telangana government has announced a partnership between the state’s business incubator T-Hub and Japanese auto parts manufacturer Denso.

D Sridhar Babu, Minister of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Industries and Commerce, said that as India is expected to become the world’s third largest automobile market, this collaboration will bring Denso’s expertise into Telangana’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“Backed by massive investments and a strong innovation-driven ecosystem, Telangana is fast becoming a key player in the Indian automotive industry. The state has strong automotive design, semiconductor and sensor engineering companies, which will be instrumental in promoting the growth of the automotive industry Crucial. With companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Bharat Forge, Exide and Amara Raja Batteries setting up advanced manufacturing facilities, we are transforming Telangana into a hub for traditional auto parts and cutting-edge electric vehicle technology.

“This partnership highlights the state’s ability to attract and support global automotive leaders,” T-Hub interim chief executive Sujit Jagirdar said.

“Our support will include access to R&D resources and technical expertise to help these startups scale successfully,” said Yasuhiro Iida, CEO of Denso International India.
