The state government has decided to build young Indian comprehensive schools (Yiirs) in 55 countries of 119 parliamentary constituencies across the state, with each person spending Rs 200 crore.
The school education sector has imposed administrative sanctions of Rs 100 million on schools with the latest infrastructure and educational facilities. The decision comes months after Congressional government funded funding sanctions on three Yiirs construction.
Several schools have been approved as backward constituency approvals in the Nagarkurnool, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Peddapalli, Nalgonda and Kumrambheem Asifabad districts. The state capital will have one school in the Chandrayangutta parliamentary constituency, while Chevella and Medchal will have two more schools adjacent to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation jurisdiction.
Deputy Chief Minister Malu Bhatti Vikramarka described the decision to impose administrative sanctions on 55 schools, the company is the country’s historic and first-time measure. These schools have the ability to grant international standards of education to students from poor families, weaker parts and middle-class students.
The Deputy Chief Minister, accompanied by his cabinet colleagues Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, told reporters that facilities in integrated residential schools were also proposed in some way that even private educational institutions would not be able to compete with them.
The schools will be established on 20 to 25 acres and have a sports arena and residential blocks for teaching staff. In addition to providing students with facilities for digital mode teaching, they will also have residential blocks for teaching staff. Each school has labs, libraries and mini-applied theatres and is developed in such a way that students from weaker segments and poorer families cannot afford the high fees charged by private institutions, where they can seek enrollment.
This syllabus is designed to ensure that students passing through these schools can compete with others on a global scale. Yiirs had considered drawing inspiration from the opposition leader of Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who are working to seek social change and empower all castes and communities in the country.
Although the financial challenges proved its commitment to spend all the money-making rupees on improving the living standards of the people, the government decided to adopt the construction of schools.
