- Skoda India has already brought the current generation of Kodiaq from its official website before it comes to the next iteration of the SUV.
Skoda Kodiaq will undergo a generation update, with the next iteration of the SUV on display at Bharat Mobility Global 2025’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in January. As automakers are approaching the launch of the next-generation SUV, Skoda India has set the current generation of Kodiaq out of its official website. With this discontinuation, Skoda currently offers three cars in India, namely the Kylaq, Slavia and Kushaq.
The discontinued Skoda Kodiaq is a flagship model of the Indian brand. Pricing ₹It has 4.099 billion (former showroom) and offers individual Laurin and Klement (L&K) decorations. Powering the SUV is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that depletes 187 bhp peak power and 320 nm of maximum torque.

The Czech automaker is now preparing for the launch of the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq that was shown in the country last month. It is expected to be launched in the country in May this year. The new generation of Skoda Kodiaq offers many design updates and feature upgrades.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq: Everything we know so far
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will serve as the flagship model for the Indian brand. It features a lot of updated designs including remodeled and sleek LED big headlights and redesigned bumpers. It will ride in 20-inch newly designed alloy wheels and will have circular wheel arches with black cladding. At the rear, there will be a C-shaped LED taillight connected by a smooth LED strip.
Inside the cabin, the new Kodiaq gets a redesigned dual-spoke steering wheel with Skoda lettering. In addition, there is a layered dashboard design that claims to have widespread use of sustainable materials. The gear shifter has a stem behind the steering wheel, giving more space in the center console, which has a wireless phone charger and storage space with retractable cover. Other design elements include a 13-inch free touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital driver display and an advanced audio system. It will also be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and heated and ventilated front seats.
On the safety side, there will be multiple airbags, Isofix child seat anchors and Hill Hold assists. It also gets Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADA), which includes features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane assistance and parking assistance.
Powering the SUV is a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine equipped with a seven-speed DCT. The engine will deliver power to all wheels through the AWD system. It will drain $20.1 billion of power and 320 nm of torque. This means that the new generation of Kodiaq is more powerful than the soon-to-be-departed Kodiaq.
