BJP MLA Shashikala Jolle and her husband and former MP Anna Saheb Jolle are 21 elected directors of the Shri Beereshwar Collaborative Society, at the Shiekkodi Review Centre near Chikkodi near Chikkodi on Sunday. None of the directors objected.
Mr Joel said the cooperative started in 1991 and has grown into a multi-state financial institution in the Excba Village, with 225 branches in three states, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa.
He said that since its inception, society has had unanimous elections. He thanked farmers, directors, employees and depositors for their cooperation.
Co-operative and return officer Mallappa Rahutannavar’s assistant registrar announced the winner’s name.
Chief Manager BA Gurav, CEO Vijay Raut and other officials were present.
