Shahid Kapoor shares an exciting update to his upcoming project. On the 25th edition of IIFA, he revealed that his film with Vishal Bhardwaj is currently in production and is expected to be released by the end of 2025.

Shahid Kapoor praised IIFA 2025 for endorsing digital content, calling it a great plan. He spoke in the media on the green carpet, highlighting the rise of digital stories and their influence.
Shahid Kapoor spoke with the media on the IIFA green carpet and shared his thoughts on IIFA’s understanding of digital content. He said: “It’s a very good thing that IIFA has started to recognize and respect digital content. Digital media has so many great artists making good stories through information. Digital content has risen rapidly over the past few years. I’ve also made a name called Fadi On Ott 2-3 years ago. I’m in the series because I love digital content and I think people want to see me in a series with good content. ”
He added: “Hope sometimes there will be Falz 2I hope that should happen. On Ott is the agenda. Apart from that, I’m shooting a movie with Vishal Bhardwaj, hoping to be released by the end of this year. ”
Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming action thriller with Vishal Bhardwaj is their fourth collaboration Kaminey,,,,, Hydeand Yangon. The film also plays Triptii Dimri and will be released by the end of 2025.
In IIFA 2025, Shahid talked about his performance preparation and joked: “Bilkul Bhi Taiyyari Nahi Hai, Bas Stage Mil Jaaye Toh Main Toh Main Toh Main Toh Main Toh Main Thodi Rehearsal Kar Lunga.”
When asked about his time in Jaipur during the IIFA celebrations, Shahid Kapoor frolicly replied: “I saw the Hyatt Hotel, and then the parking lot (laughs). So I don’t have time to explore the city and do sightseeing, but I love Jaipur.”
