Several schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails for the sixth time in 11 days, but no suspicious items were found

Several schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Friday, officials said, the sixth such incident in the past 11 days. An official said security personnel conducted a search operation at the school but found nothing suspicious. “We received a call regarding a bomb threat from DPS, Sector 23, Dwarka at 5:02 am,” Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said on Friday.

Another official said police, fire departments, bomb squads and dog squads were involved in the search but so far nothing has been found. The official said similar emails were received by about five schools in Dwarka and a few schools in other districts.

In some places, students have been asked not to come to school, while others have moved to online classes after receiving threats, he added.
