In a major development, the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) confirmed that it had never received any complaints against K. Naveen Babu, the former Kannar’s additional district sheriff (ADM), who was found dead at his official residence last October.
In response to a right to information (RTI) inquiry raised by lawyer Kulathoor Jaisingh, VACB said in response to a right to information (RTI) inquiry raised by lawyer Kulathoor Jaisingh that in Kannur’s ADM, he received no complaints against officials during his tenure.
This revelation is of great significance in view of the allegations of Prashanthan, the Kannur.
