TDP Lok Sabha members from Andhra Pradesh have promised to be baby girls here, with Rs 50,000 arrears for every three children here.
Vizianagaram MP K. Appala Naidu said he would deposit it in the newborn girl in the form of a fixed deposit, which could put her marriage age up to Rs 1 million.
“If the third child is a boy, if the third child is a baby girl, we will give a cow and a calf. The population of India must rise.” pti Sunday (March 9, 2025).
The MP said he was inspired by the appeal of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to increase India’s population.
Appala Naidu, who promised to extend the proposal to everyone’s constituency, recalled that he was encouraged by several women in politics and life, including his mother, wife, sister and daughter.
Furthermore, he observed that women are encouraged to experience discrimination as well.
According to the MP, he announced the proposal during the International Women’s Day celebration.
