Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Thursday responded to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s “Naxal” remarks and said Maharashtra The people will not tolerate any insult to Babasaheb (Bhimrao Ambedkar) by the BJP and the Congress and Congress parties.
In a post on X, Rahul Gandhi said “this shameful” attempt by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will fail.
“According to the former BJP chief minister of Maharashtra, displaying Babasaheb’s constitution and raising the voice of caste census was a Naxalite idea! This idea of BJP is a violation of the Constitution-making Bhimrao Ambedkar, son of Maharashtra,” Rahul said.
The BJP also emphasized that during the Lok Sabha elections, the people of Maharashtra fought for the Constitution and delivered a resounding victory to Maha Vikas Aghadi.
Rahul Gandhi added: “The people of Maharashtra will not tolerate any insult on Babasaheb by the BJP and they will fight with the Congress and the people of Maharashtra will not tolerate it Let’s defend our Constitution together and respond with full force to every attack on it.
“All these shameful attempts by the BJP will fail and be put in writing and the caste census will be completed,” he stressed.
Earlier today, Devendra Fadnavis targeted LoP Rahul Gandhi for his ‘Samvidhan Sammelan’ in Maharashtra on Wednesday.
“With him were urban Naxalites and anarchists.
He insults the Constitution every day. Congress has insulted Dr BR Ambedkar and insulted the Constitution. Now no one will forget their tricks.

Maharashtra will go to polls for 288 seats on November 20 and the results will be announced on November 23.
