Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi a “fool” at a press conference at the BJP headquarters. He also accused Congress leaders of deliberately disrupting a protest by BJP legislators in Makkaduwa, Parliament, leading to a scuffle between the ruling alliance and the opposition.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters on Thursday, Chouhan also took aim at Congress leaders Mallikarjun Haq and Rahul Gandhi, claiming that their actions reflected a lack of Accountability and respect.

Chouhan said, “Congress President Haq and Rahul Gandhi held a press conference here not long ago. We thought he would seek forgiveness for their behavior in Parliament, but their arrogance showed clearly. Today, I The idea is that I have been a member of the Lok Sabha and the Parliament many times, and I have seen behavior and actions by MPs and MLAs that were unimaginable – full of violence.

Speaking about the incident, the BJP MP claimed that security personnel asked Rahul Gandhi to take a different route to avoid disrupting the BJP MP’s protest in Makadwar.

Chouhan further said, “Members of any political party have the right to protest on any issue. Protests have also been going on in the Parliament for the past few days.”

Chouhan further accused Rahul Gandhi of escalating the situation into violence and claimed that BJP MP Pratap Sarangi fell and suffered head injuries, while MP Mukesh Rajput fell unconscious after the clash, Had to undergo an MRI.

“Rahul Gandhi behaved like a thug. He started pushing there. Our senior MP Pratap Sarangi fell down and he suffered severe head injuries. He was admitted to the intensive care unit , who is still undergoing treatment, said she approached him while crying,” Chauhan said.
