Preparatory work for the Communist Party of India (Marxist) is in full swing [CPI(M)] The Communist Party of India (Marxist) said that as part of the 23rd Party Congress, a regional conference is scheduled to be held at Kanhangad from February 5 to 7, 2025 [CPI(M)] District Secretary MV Balakrishnan.
Mr Balakrishnan outlined the plan in an interview with the media, which included prominent leaders including members of the state and central committees. The event will culminate on February 7 with rallies, red marches and public gatherings expected to attract more than 50,000 people. Politburo member A. Vijayaraghavan will inaugurate the meeting of district representatives, which will also be attended by leaders such as EP Jayarajan, PK Sreemathy and PP Ramakrishnan.
He said that this meeting was held following the successful convening of 1,959 branch meetings, 143 local meetings and 12 regional meetings in the district. Highlighting the achievements of the CPI(M), Mr. Balakrishnan pointed out that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) had achieved success in the recent elections, including regaining control of the District Panchayat and in excluding Qom. Gained wider representation in local bodies outside Badaj.
As part of the preparations, Flag Day activities will be held on January 15 and the national flag will be hoisted at party offices and households on January 13. and discussions of topics such as gender justice, the knowledge economy, and communalism.
Other events include a borough-wide waste management campaign on January 25 and 26, public clean-ups and a historical exhibition starting on January 7. mass struggle against anti-people policies and labor policies.
