Preetha Reddy, executive vice-chairman of Apollo Hospitals, has been included in Fortune magazine’s list of Asia’s most powerful women in 2024. Several leading women from various industries including energy, food and beverage, finance, transport and hospitality are featured on the list. The magazine said Ms. Reddy has been “at the forefront of transforming the $118 billion health care giant.” 20 leaders from China, 8 from India, 4 from Malaysia, 14 from Thailand, 3 from Vietnam, 2 from Indonesia, 9 each from Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, 6 from Australia, and South Korea and 7 leaders each from the Philippines Fortune Magazine’s Asia’s Most Powerful Women in 2024.
