PM Modi on Maha Kumbh: Unity’s “Mahayagna” summary; apologize for any shortcomings of the service

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (27 February 2025) compared the huge Maha Kumbh congregation to a new awakening consciousness that breathes freely after breaking the shackles of slavery thought.

He wrote in his blog: “Maha Kumbh came to the conclusion.

The Prime Minister apologized to “Mother Ganga, Mother Yamuna, Mother Saraswati” and the people he said, saying it was a form of God because of the shortcomings that any service encountered did not have.

He pointed out that it is not easy to make such a large-scale arrangement.

At least 30 devotees died in the stampede of Maha Kumbh, the cowboy group attracted a large number of devotees across the country.

The Uttar Pradesh government said that more than 6.5 billion people have visited the sacred ruins of Prayagraj since Maha Kumbh began on January 13.

Modi praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in his blog, saying that as a member of MP from Uttar Pradesh, he can proudly say that under Adityanath, the rule of government, government and people has made this “unity Maha Kumbh” successful.

He said that everyone, whether it is a health officer, a police officer, a boatman, a driver and a chef, succeeded through ruthless dedication and service, which was also successful.

He asserted that something that hadn’t happened in the last few decades had happened.

“It sets the foundation for centuries to come,” he added.

He said the number of devotees arriving at Maha Kumbh is certainly recorded, adding that the number of people is almost twice that of the U.S. population.

He said the government made estimates based on previous experiences in Kumbhs and pointed out that the actual figures were far beyond imagination. The Prime Minister said it was a very pleasant experience to see young devotees attending a large number of holy congregations. “This strengthens people’s belief that India’s younger generation is the carrier of our values ​​and culture and understands its responsibility in moving forward. They are committed to it,” he said.
