Vikrant Massey breaks silence as he comes under attack for Karwa Chauth’s pictures, especially where he was photographed touching Sheetal Thakur’s feet .
Vikrant Massey is not social media friendly and tries his best to stay away from negativity and trolls. Recently, the actor opened up about being attacked for posting about Karwa Chauth celebrations. In the controversial carousel post, Vikrant touched the feet of his wife Sheetal Thakur on the roof of their house. Although his fans love the mutual respect between them. Trolls mocked him and even insulted him. In an interview with The Lallantop, Vikrant shared his views on the negativity on social media.
In an interview, Vikrant said, “I have six pictures on my phone but only four of them became a topic of discussion. Some people liked it while others even abused me. I don’t understand why. I believe if you want peace in your home you should touch your wife’s feet from time to time, she is the Lakshmi of my house, I don’t think it is wrong to touch Lakshmi’s feet, I am proud to say she entered me life.
During the festival of Kavajos, Vikrant dropped a picture of their celebrations and captioned it “Ghar”. In the photo, Vikrant is seen wearing a traditional kurta and jacket. Sheetal looked adorable in a pink saree. In one picture, Sheetal touches Vikrant’s feet. In another photo, Vikrant was seen touching Sheetal’s feet. In the fourth picture, Vikrant helps Sheetal break her fast and provides water.
On the work front, Vikrant Massey will be seen in Sabarmati Report. He has been receiving threats for the same film. Addressing a press conference, Vikrant said, “Aap mera phone hack kar rahe hai kya (laughs). Aap mere DMs dekhe. I have been getting threats. Without drawing attention to it, this is what I am dealing with The matter is something we are dealing with collectively as a team. However, every team member present at the press conference claimed that their film is based on “pure facts.” The Sabarmati Report will be released in cinemas on November 15.
