A naval helicopter and navy and coast guard vessels have been deployed to search for two missing passengers, an official said on Thursday, a day after a navy ship rammed their ferry off the coast of Mumbai.
Eight vessels, including the navy and coast guard, were involved in the search and rescue operations, which continued on Thursday, the official said.
There were 113 people on board the two ships, 13 of whom died and 98 were rescued, including two injured. The official said there were six people on board the Navy craft, two of whom survived.
The missing passengers have been identified as Hansraj Bhati, 43, and Johan Mohammad Nisar Ahmed Pathan, 7, police said.
Thirteen people, including Navy personnel and two Navy contract workers, were killed when a naval ship collided with the passenger ship Neel Kamal carrying more than 100 passengers from the Gateway of India to Koh Chang on Wednesday afternoon.
