Former Indian captain MS Dhoni landed in Chennai on Wednesday, February 26 to attend a pre-season training camp organized by Chennai Super Kings before IPL 2025. Dhoni was found leaving Chennai Airport where he was wearing a black T-shirt and sunglasses. Many security guards escorted him out of the airport.

“I’ve only played for a few months, but I want to enjoy it the way I started the game, which keeps me moving forward,” Dhoni said in a promotional event in Mumbai in February.
“But, of course, because IPL is one of the toughest games, I need to work six to eight months of hard work. The water level has to be the same,” Dhoni added.
Earlier, Dhoni was retained as an unlimited player by CSK for Rs 4 crore before IPL 2025 Mega Auction. After failing to make the playoffs in IPL 2024, Dhoni decided to shoot again at his team’s league career.
During IPL 2024, Ms. Dhoni competed in all 14 games of CSK, where he ran 161 runs with 220 batting averages. He also performed his duties as a ticket inspector in all competitions, but then he transferred himself to lower the order.
The Super King will begin the IPL 2025 campaign against Mumbai Indians in Chennai on March 22.
