In a shocking incident, a teacher at a Madhya Pradesh school helped students cheat by solving test papers on the blackboard.
The incident occurred on February 25 in the Bertoir district. The school suspended teachers and launched an investigation into the matter. During the exam, primary school teacher Sangeeta Vishwakarma was seen writing answers to math problem papers on the blackboard, allowing students to cheat.
When the teacher helped the student cheat, someone recorded the entire incident and shared the video on social media, which quickly gained traction here.
The video spread and the regional government immediately attracted attention. Betel collector Narendra Kumar Suryavanshi ordered an emergency investigation, taking into account the seriousness of the problem.
During the investigation, the allegations that promoted the teacher to cheat were found to be true, resulting in her suspension.
Shilpa Jain, assistant commissioner of the Tribal Affairs Department, said Sangeeta Vishwakarma was appointed as guardian of the Examination Hall. However, Jain noted that Vishwakarma abused her stance by addressing test papers about the blackboard and promoting cheating by students.
“After she was suspended, a disciplinary investigation was conducted on the teacher. If further serious charges were proven, strict action could be taken against her.”
