More than 7,000 students write a second PU exam in Chamarajanagar

The Chamarajanagar regional government has reviewed the arrangements for the second PU exam starting from March 1.

A total of 7,384 students, including 6,736 freshmen, are taking the exam, including 17 examination centers including Chamarajanagar, Gundlupet, Yalandur, Yalandur, Kollegal and Hanur Taluks. Of the 6,736 students, there were 3,849 female students.

Of the 60 PU colleges in the region, there are 7 examination centers in the government PU colleges, 4 of the auxiliary colleges, and six of the independent colleges.

Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Nag on Tuesday reviewed preparations for the exam and released directions to officials for the March 1-20 test.

There is an area of ​​200 meters around the inspection center that is declared prohibited and the photocopy centers within and around the examination center on the examination day should not work during the examination period.

Measures have been taken to distribute the problem papers to the various examination centres, and a committee composed of the committees is sent from the regional finance section to their respective examination centres.

Police safety will be deployed around the examination center as a precaution and prohibits inspection of cell phones inside the center. Only the Chief Principal can use a basic cell phone for inspection.

The route officer will accompany officials under police protection to carry problem documents from the district finance ministry to their respective examination centers, the press release said.

It said all examination centers will conduct CCTV monitoring.
