The fired staff allegedly discussed gender reassignment surgery and gender-neutral pronouns, among other things, Intelink is a platform (NSA) managed by the National Security Agency (NSA) for sharing sensitive information within the intelligence community.

Gabbard said in an interview with Fox News on February 25 that the employee’s behavior “infringes trust.” “I issued a directive today and they will be terminated and their security permit will be revoked,” she added.

The matter surfaced on February 24 in a February 24 article published by conservative activist Christopher Rufo and journalist Hannah Grossman in the City Daily. The article is based on the Intelink chat log provided by NSA’s “A Current Employee and A Former Employee.”

Some of the chats published in the article are about gender redirectional surgery and sexual experiences. The discussion also involves multiple Trojans, as well as employees who want to use the pronoun “it”.

“[I]T/its users are here. While I understand that we can make some people uncomfortable, remember that the dehumanizing aspect either does not apply or b) is a positive effect when we ask for it.

“A commenter who disagreed was quickly dismissed by employees of the NSA and CIA, who claimed that refusal to use the “IT/ITS” pronoun equals “erase” a transgender identity,” the report added.

A few days later, the City Daily published an interview with the “whistleblower”. Rufo’s article also said: “This long-time NSA Insider told me that the NSA’s ideological capture began ten years ago. Transgender people put themselves in a position of power, putting employees under pressure in the name of ideology, receiving resumption education and training, and compromising national security.”

“About a decade ago, they started having “employee resource groups”: African Americans, veterans, pride. It’s just a meeting here and there…and then it starts to get more and more…you might be hired as a mathematician, chief of staff or systems engineer, but you’ll take the time to go to these events and meet all day.”

NSA staff also claimed that employees refused to investigate someone using a “dead” name – a person named before changing their gender identity. “You have analysts who don’t want to do the report they should do because they will have to report someone’s “dead name”. They are suffering from a crisis of conscience for the actual name of their report opponents because they think it’s their “dead name” and they don’t want to disrespect the person.”

The whistleblower also said: “And outside of the patients, you see the universal philosophy that these people are doing with these people in the chat room. They hate capitalism. They hate Christians. They always support the beliefs of socialism and Marxism.”
