Meta raises $35 billion in negotiations for Apollo-led data center financing: Report

Apollo Global Management is in talks to provide a funding plan of about $35 billion for the metaplatform to help develop data centers in the U.S., Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.

The report said alternative asset managers have discussed the main parts of providing financing.

Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said the company will spend as much as $65 billion this year to expand its AI infrastructure.

Meta and Apollo Global Management did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
