Mercedes-AMG will launch the C 63 S E-Performance on November 12, 2024.

Mercedes-Benz India recently teased the upcoming AMG C 63 SE Performance in a few posts uploaded by ‘X’. In the teaser image, the manufacturer shows a hood with protruding air intakes, while in another image, 18-spoke alloy wheels are shown. The press conference is scheduled to be held on November 12, 2024.

The brand uses the hashtag “#C63 #AMG #HeresToTheHeart #MercedesBenzIndia” to promote posts that illustrate the marketing slogan “Here’s to the heart”. Mercedes says the high-performance sedan has the world’s most powerful four-cylinder engine.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE Performance: Engine

At the heart of the matter, Mercedes-AMG’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor is all the magic the brand has drawn from its Formula 1 cars. The engine has been integrated into the C 63 S E-Performance, with the electric motor located above the rear axle. The device powers all four limbs with a combined output of 661 hp and over 1,000 Newton meters of torque.

The turbocharger technology on this engine is an electric exhaust type that helps reduce turbo lag. The car is also equipped with the AMG Dynamic Select system, which allows the driver to choose from eight different driving modes.

Mercedes-AMG C 63 SE performance: details

The new design of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E-Performance is expected to get AMG-specific elements on the exterior and interior. The car will also be equipped with the latest MBUX system, optional sports seats with AMG performance seats, and multiple monitors. It will also feature rear-axle steering with speed-sensitive steering that will adapt to cornering requirements depending on the selected dynamic mode.

The car will be one of the last models launched by the brand in the Indian market this year. The manufacturer has launched a total of 13 products in 2024, including the new E-Class, GLS, EQS SUV and more to date.
