Lallian performs puja before returning home
Before moving into their new home, Lalyan and her family performed a traditional Hindu “puja” ceremony to bless the space and honor Perry. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, she shared this devotional ritual that helps create a positive foundation for any new home. “As a real estate developer, I believe that every property has a history… Every house carries the energy that the current owner has brought to it. I am a Hindu and whenever you buy a new house, it is customary to Blessings and prayers,” Lallian shared.
Preserving Perry’s legacy
Larian expressed her admiration for the home’s iconic elements and emphasized her commitment to preserving all aspects of Perry’s legacy. She noted that there are plans to retain some unique design features, including the Batman logo in the pool, a cherished symbol associated with the “Friends” star’s love for the character. “We choose to honor the positive aspects of our former owner’s life, his immense talent, and all the joy he brought to so many people,” she said in the post.
Personal connections beyond reputation
Lalyan clarified that her decision to purchase the property was not due to Perry’s fame, but rather because of her genuine love for the home’s features, particularly the ocean views and design. “The moment I walked into the house I completely fell in love with the features, especially the views of the Pacific Ocean. We knew this was the ‘perfect fit’ and decided to write an offer on it right away,” she said on Instagram wrote.
Tragic loss remembered
Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the sitcom “Friends,” has died at the age of 54. The official autopsy report attributed his death to the effects of ketamine combined with accidental drowning.
