Mahindra Thar Roxx has a Mocha Brown Interior theme that has begun to attract dealers. Thar Roxx’s new color theme was announced in October 2024 after Mahindra received feedback from viewers. Starting from the factory, the Thar Roxx has a tit-like white color scheme for the interior, and it tends to get dirty easily for SUVs that should off-road and tackle mud, dirt and mud. Mahindra Thar Roxx offers six unique variants: MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L and AX7L. It is worth noting that the AX3L variant is equipped with only a diesel engine and a manual transmission. By contrast, the AX5L variant also comes with a diesel engine, but only works with an automatic transmission. Other variants are powered by a gasoline engine. Mahindra offers the Thar Roxx a 2.2-liter diesel engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Both engines are equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Additionally, the Thar Roxx is equipped with a 4×4 powertrain with a diesel engine.
What are the security features of Mahindra Thar Roxx?
The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes with six airbags, 3-point seat belts for all passengers, electronic stability control (ESC) and seat belt reminder (SBR) as standard in all variants to ensure reliable occupant protection. Additional Level 2 ADA features such as automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning, lane assist and a 360-degree surround browsing system with blind view display. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPM) and brake lock differential (BLD) add safety layers.

Mahindra Thar Roxx received a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test. The newly launched SUV scored 31.09 out of 32 points for adult occupant safety and 45 out of 32 points for child safety. Bharat NCAP was tested by AX5L and MX3 variants of TAR ROXX. Additionally, both the Mahindra XUV400 and 3XO have received 5-star ratings in crash test evaluations.
