Karnataka CM Sheeshmahal – Karnataka PWD estimates Rs 260 crore on residence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah – Karnataka News

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah faces allegations of trivial spending as the state public works department estimated a renovation of 26 crore in his official residence, Cauvery.

The criticism was caused after a government notice issued by the finance department, which outlined the planned upgrades, including a new helper room with bathroom, additional storage room, storage room, upgraded lighting, water spots and other other work.

Rs 17 crore is reported to be used for building assistants’ rooms and kitchen supplies, while Rs 89 crore will be used for electrical upgrades and air conditioning.

BJP MLA from Chikpet Uday Garudachar called the fee outrageous. “Isn’t this brutal? What the Chief Minister himself shouldn’t do. My appeal is, let’s make sure everything else is done first. Once those needs are met, he can focus on renovating his own house or something else he wants,” he said. ”

People are struggling with money. Almost nothing left. ” Garudachar added.
