Filmmaker Karan Johar recently released a video starring Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. In the film, the two actresses reunite in love. Filled with joy, Kareena gave Rani a gentle kiss on her cheek and hugged her tightly. The film also captures Karan jokingly recording the moment and teasing the star by asking “Mujhse dosti karoge?”, a famous line from the film. K3G (sometimes happy, sometimes sad) When Hrithik Roshan’s character invites Kareena to become his friend. Karan then shamelessly repeated Kareena’s iconic dialogue, “I love it…I love it, prom pe main tumhare saath hi jaunga”, prompting Kareena to jokingly cover her face and say: “Oh my God! Why are you doing this?” Rani, in true Tina style, responded to Karan’s question with a sassy “Kabhi nahi”, causing Karan to jokingly reply, “I love it.” Kareena smiled Concluding this interesting exchange, “We regret it.”
Karan wrote in the video caption, “Jab POO met Tina…that’s all!” Kareena posted a picture of the trio on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Friends forever.” Check out the post below.
Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji’s on-screen friendship dates back to 2002 film Will you be friends with me?in which they star alongside Hrithik Roshan. They also appeared in “Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham”, “Om Shanti Om” and “Talaash” (although not together). Off-screen, the two have been close friends for years.
On the work front, Rani was last seen in the critically acclaimed Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway (2023), while Kareena is currently enjoying the success of her Diwali release Singham Again. Karan Johar, whose latest directorial venture was Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (2023), is currently working on his next film, The film is considered a love story.
