According to the video released by ANI, newly elected Speaker of J&K Assembly Abdul Rahimrath can be heard repeating: “Get them out…” and ordering the BJP leaders to leave quickly . Amid the chaos, the speaker reportedly adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes.
When the House met in the morning, slogans such as “Pakistan agenda nahi chalega” were raised by BJP legislators. After the adjournment, MLAs continued to protest, even after Raheem Rather asked them to take their seats.

After passing the resolution on Wednesday, the Assembly urged the Center to initiate discussions with elected representatives of the region to restore Jammu and Kashmir’s special status and constitutional guarantees and establish necessary constitutional machinery for the purpose.
