New Delhi: According to the second expectation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, India has created rice, wheat and corn in the 2024-25 Kharif season.
India produced Khalif’s food, reaching 166.391 billion tons and rabbi grain (excluding summer crops), at 1645.27 billion tons at 248.11 million tons; rabbi corn (excluding summer), at 124.38 billion tons.
The estimated output of Kharif rice is 12.0679 million tons, compared with 11.3259 million tons in 2023-24, showing 74.2 million tons. Rabbit rice production is estimated to be 15.758 million tons.
Wheat production is estimated at 1154.3 million tons, which is 21.38 lakh tonne higher than the previous year’s production of 11.38 lakh tonne. The production of Xiaomi (kharif) is estimated to be 30.81 lakh tonne.
In addition, the estimated yield of nutrition/grain grain (Kharif) is 385.63 lah tonne, and the estimated yield of nutrition/grain grain (Rabi) is 174.65 billion tons of peanuts is 104.26 billion tons and 8.87 million tons, respectively.
Compared with the Kharif peanut production in the previous year, Kharif peanut production reached 17.66 billion tons. Soybean production is estimated at 151.32 billion tons, up 20.7 million tons compared to 13.062 million tons of production in the previous year, while Rapeseed and Mustard are estimated at 12.873 billion tons.
Cotton production is estimated at 29.425 million bales (170 kilograms per kilogram), and sugarcane production is estimated at 43.5079 million tons.
These estimates are based primarily on information received from the states. The second advance estimate covers the Kharif and Rabi seasons, and the summer should be included in the third estimate.
Kharif crops are sown from June to July and rely on monsoon rainfall and are harvested from October to November. Rabies crops are sown from October to November and are harvested from January, depending on their maturity. Summer crops are produced between rabies and Kharif seasons.
