In the latest episode of the ICC review, former Indian coach Ravi Shastri praised Virat Kohli and conducted an in-depth analysis of the former captain in the ICC Championship Trophy 2025 final.
Shastri worked closely with Kohli to have a very successful team of coach captains, and he articulated his undisputed king in the 50-time format.
“His discipline, awareness of the situation of the game (which is what sets him apart). I think he’s trying to outperform himself in the last three to four years, where he’s trying to outperform what he’s good at, and sometimes catch up with you.”
