New Delhi:
Congressional Overseas Chief Sam Pitroda claimed on Thursday that he never owned any land, house or stock during his tenure in the Indian government and never received a salary because he refuted recent media reports while also asserting that he never paid or accepted bribes in India or in India, his 83-year-old or any other country.
Mr. Pitroda posted on X: “Recorded Statements. In view of the latest reports from Indian media in television and printing, I would like to state the following explicitly: I do not own any land, home or stock in India. In addition, during my work with the Indian government, I worked with Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in the mid-1980s, whether it was with the Indian government or singing 2004 in 2004 with the mid-1980s.
He further pointed out that throughout his life he neither accepted nor paid any bribes, calling it “an absolute and irrefutable truth.”
He wrote: “In addition, I want to record no doubt about the 83 years I have never had in my life – accepting any bribes in India or any other country. It is an absolute and irrefutable fact.”
Meanwhile, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi accused Pitroda of engaging in “anti-Indian activities” on Wednesday, claiming that he illegally seized leased land in the Yelahanka forest area of Bengaluru, Bengaluru.
“Sam Pitroda was not only addicted to anti-India statements, but was also approved to lease land in Bangladesh City in Yelalaka Woodland for a lease term of five years. He did not renew the lease nor did he return it. Josh told Ani, “A criminal lawsuit should be initiated against him.” ”
