Honda boosts sales: Honda Motor has crossed its increased cumulative sales milestone in both domestic and international markets. The elevated mount is currently manufactured at the HCIL manufacturing plant in Tapukara, Rajasthan. The company has sold a total of 53,326 elevated units in India and exported 47,653 units to countries including Japan, South Africa, Nepal and Bhutan until January 25.

The elevated lift was first launched in India on September 23. The company said in an official statement that it was the first Indian model for export to Japan, expanding its global reach and strengthening HCIL’s commitment to producing global quality cars from its manufacturing operations.

It is the largest export contribution model of HCIL. Since Honda raised exports in 2023, it helped the company grow its export business by 65% ​​in fiscal 23-24, and over 92% (Jan 24) in the ongoing fiscal year (APR’24-Jan’25 period).

“The rising cumulative sales milestone is a proud moment for all of us, and it is a proud moment for all of us, which makes Honda’s presence in India’s domestic SUV market and a strong export business from India,” said Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Honda Motor India, of the achievement.

Consumer preferences

– 53% boost sales come from the top ZX variant, equipped with ADAS Tech’s Honda Sensing.
– 79% of elevated customers selected 3 grades available CVT variants – V, VX and ZX.
– 22% of overhead buyers are first-time car buyers.
– More than 43% of customers purchased elevated cars with their family.
