The state government is considering amending Andhra Pradesh rights in the Land and Patadal Pass Act 1971 at the ongoing budget meeting. The NDA government plans to amend the earlier amendment to the bill by the YSRCP government in 2022. The YSRCP government has carried out an amendment informing district tax officials as an appeal authorization body to resolve any complaints that are entitled to record (ROR).
Special Chief Secretary Taxation Bureau RP Sisodia told Hindu Monday (March 10).
Mr Sisodia explained that in order to meet the challenges and alleviate the problems, the sub-collector or tax zoning officer (RDO) was notified earlier as the appeal authority would be restored, and therefore the government would withdraw the role of district tax officers as the simultaneous agency.
Furthermore, the proposed amendment will require that “Tahildar shall, in writing, be entered into all persons entered in the record of rights and are interested in the amendment and be influenced by any person in which he has reason to be interested or influenced by any other person in order to show the stage to show the stage to show the stage to show the extent of the stage. Copies of the amendments and notices shall also be issued in a prescribed manner. Tahsildar shall consider all objections representing that.”
Within 30 days from the date of receipt of such orders or amendments, any aggrieved person may appeal before the sub-leader or tax department official. The appealing authority shall appeal no later than three months after the date of filing the appeal.
