Poetic exchange between Gambhir and Navjot Sidhu

During the celebrations at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Gambhir had a heart-warming exchange with former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu, known for his poetic talent. Gambhir tried to surprise everyone by surprise by trying to a pair of couplets, saying:

“ Fann Kuchalne Ka Hunar Seekhiye Janab…”

Sidhu was delighted and completed this verse:

“Saapon Ke Darr Se Jungle Nahi Chhore Jaate.”

Sidhu was deeply moved and later shared it on social media, writing: “He asked me to have a lot to say in Shayari…he @gautamgambhir stay here… Wish him and the Indian cricket team and the Indian cricket team are the best….

Sidhu then playfully challenged Gambhir to break into the Bhangra dance. Although the head coach did make a pose, he didn’t dance despite Sidhu’s repeated attempts to convince him.

Rohit Sharma praises Gambir for his support

After India’s victory, Captain Rohit Sharma praised Gambhir for supporting his aggressive approach to batting, a sign of India’s success in the championship.

“(Occurrence Game) is not natural to me, but it’s something I really want to do. When you try something new, you need support from the team and management, and they support me throughout the process. Rahul Bhai supported me in the ODI World Cup and now Gauti Bhai does the same.

As Gambhir led India to the ICC title in his first year as head coach, the victory not only cemented his figure in coaching but also laid the foundation for an exciting new chapter in Indian cricket.
