Fresh BJP Showdown with AAP: Atishi says MLA is banned from entering Delhi Congress a few days after suspension | Indian News

A few days after the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) MLA was suspended from Delhi Parliament, the opposition (LOP) Atishi said on Thursday that AAP MLA had stopped AAP MLA from entering the conference venue after being suspended for three days in a House lawsuit.

Atishi, who blocked Kalkaji’s seat in the recently concluded Delhi Parliament poll, said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) “crossed all the restrictions of the dictatorship” after taking office.

Shortly after the House lawsuit began Tuesday, Atishi and other AAP MLAs protested the alleged removal of BR Ambedkar’s portrait from the CM’s office. Speaker Vijender Gupta suspended 21 AAP legislators to undermine the inaugural speech of Governor Lieutenant General VK Saxena to the newly formed house.

Responding to the development that took place on Thursday, the former Delhi CM brought to social media platform X and said that AAP MLA would not be allowed to enter Vidhan Sabha, something that has never happened in the history of the Delhi Parliament.

AAP leader said: “AAP MLA was suspended for three days for raising the slogan of ‘Jai Bhim’.

Atishi told reporters: “The police said that we (AAP MLA) had been suspended, so we are not even allowed to enter the conference premise. So far,”

Atishi sat in protest with other AAP MLAs after being denied permission to enter the parliamentary venue.

On Tuesday, 21 of the 22 AAP MLAs, including Atishi, were suspended. The suspension of the AAP MLA comes on a day after day, and the Delhi government has submitted an auditor-general and auditor-general (CAG) report on alcohol policy, further exacerbating the political confrontation between the AAP and the BJP.

Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan is the only AAP legislator exempted from the moratorium because he was not in the House during the protests. Minister Palvish Velma suspended the motion.

After LG began speaking, AAP lawmakers began to raise slogans against the alleged removal of Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh from the Chief Minister’s Office. Spokesman Vijender Gupta issued an order to order Marshall to eliminate all 21 MLAs from the House due to the interruption.

After their suspension, the AAP MLA held a demonstration in the convention complex and held up the portrait of Ambedkar. Atishi slammed the BJP for trying to remove Ambedkar’s legacy. “The BJP shows its true colors by deleting the portrait of Babasaheb Ambedkar. She said.
