Acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli is a center of major controversy after serious allegations from Uppalapati Srinivasa Rao, who claims to be a long-time friend of the director.

Srinivasa said in a letter to the Metuguda Police Department that he had known Rajamouli since 1990 and accused him of destroying his life and causing serious emotional distress. He claims their consequences stem from love triangles. Srinivasa shot a video and sent it to the Mettu Police Department.

In the video of the spread, he was heard saying that Rajamouli was responsible for his suicide. Srinivasa, executive producer of Rajamouli director Yamadonga, said: “The first director of India, Rajamouli and Rama Rajamouli, are the reasons for my suicide. You may think I did it for publicity, but this is my last letter. Everyone from MM Keeravaani to Chandrasekhar Yeleti and Hanu Raghavapudi knows that I have been with Rajamouli for many years. I never thought a woman could come between us. I had no choice but to die just by suicide. Rajamouli is the reason why I was still single 55 years old. We worked together until Yamadonga but he ruined my career for a woman.”

“He asked me to sacrifice my love for her, and although I disagree at first, I did it later. He believed I would tell people about it and he started to torture me after the debate,” he claimed.

Rao reportedly continued to accuse the director of “Baahubali” of being involved in the dark magic and destroying other filmmakers. He claimed that Rajamouli adopted an immoral strategy to maintain his position in the industry, although he provided no evidence to support the allegations. Srinivasa stressed that he did not seek publicity and that he had reached an emotional breakthrough point in his life. Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli has not yet resolved the serious charges.
